The LHL Planner
Not a productivity system — a simple daily rhythm for anyone whose life is being rebuilt, one day at a time.
Haggai told a discouraged, rebuilding people that the latter house would be greater than the former. He didn’t tell them to rebuild faster. He told them to show up, lay one stone, and trust God with the outcome. This planner works the same way. It won’t organize your whole life. It will help you show up for one day, on purpose, with God at the center of it.
Use the five-part rhythm below to walk through your day, then fill in the planner card underneath right on this page — or print it and keep it on your desk.
The Five-Part Rhythm
- Anchor. Start with one verse. Not a chapter, not a plan — one verse that steadies you before anything else does.
- Focus. Name what you’re believing God for today. One sentence. Say it before the day gets noisy.
- Prioritize. Pick three things that actually matter today — not everything on your list, just the three that move the rebuild forward.
- Give thanks. Write down what you’re grateful for before the day is over, even if today was hard.
- Reflect. End with a short prayer and one honest sentence about how the day actually went.
Come back and fill in a fresh one each morning — or bookmark this page and use it straight from your phone.
